Media & Live Translation
Your media library, and live captions of your service translated for guests to read.
Upload files
Getting media into your church’s library, and what happens after the upload finishes.
What Live Translation is, and what you need to run it
Live captions of your service, translated into other languages, read on guests’ phones or shown on screen.
Watch: setting up and running Live Translation
A two-minute screen recording of the whole thing, with the same steps written out beneath it.
Run a session from the console
Going live, watching that it is working, and ending cleanly so you stop being charged.
Choose translation languages
Setting the language being spoken and the languages you translate into.
Share a caption link with the congregation
The link and QR code guests use to read captions on their own phones.
Show captions on a screen or in your video mixer
The overlay link, how to add it as a web item in your software, and how to check it before the service.
Live captions in OBS Studio
Add the overlay link as a Browser source on top of your scene. OBS keys the page over your video on its own.
Live captions in vMix
Add the overlay link as a Web Browser input and show it on an overlay channel, so it sits over whatever is on program.
Live captions in ProPresenter
Add the overlay link as a Web object in the slide editor. It covers the slide and the captions render right over your output.
Live captions in FreeShow
Add the overlay link as a Website item inside an overlay. The Captions item in the same menu is for another service and stays blank.
Live captions in any browser, on a screen with no software
Open the overlay link full screen on the computer wired to the screen. Pick a background colour, because on its own the overlay is transparent.
